Weekend Pennant 2024-2025 Round 11

In our last round, the Club had a very good weekend with all 3 sides up for the first time this season. Side 1 played Blackburn away with a hard fought win by 5 shots with 1 rink up against another club near the bottom of the ladder, no-one is easy this season. Side 2 played at home against North Balwyn and had a wonderful win with all rinks up and 37 shots ahead. Our combined Burwood/Mt Waverley side had their first win of the season against Vermont South away and had all of the rinks win with a 15 shot margin. I am sure a sense of relief for the players. Best winning rink was Dave Hutchinson’s team winning by 24 shots.
Round 11 sees Side 1 away at Vermont South and Side 2 away at Doncaster and Side 3 will be playing a home match against Blackburn.
